Pandora and Siri

Free, Plus and Premium listeners can ask to hear their favorite stations. Premium listeners can also ask Siri to play additional content, such as albums, podcasts, and specific songs or playlists.

Here are some examples of commands you can use with Siri:

• Request to play content on Pandora: "Hey Siri, play _______ on Pandora." You can ask Siri to play a station, an album, a song, a playlist, or a podcast using this command.
• Control playback: "Hey Siri, pause/play/resume this Song."
• Search for content on Pandora: "Hey Siri, Find _______ on Pandora."

If you're running a version older than iOS 14, you will need to update your device's operating system (OS) to be able to use this feature. Please refer to this article for more info.

Troubleshooting Siri

Please make sure you are running iOS 15 and the latest version of our app on your device. To confirm the iOS version on your device, open the device's Settings. Then go to General > About > Version.

If you are running a version older than iOS 14, you will need to update your device's operating system (OS). Please refer to this article for more info. 

If you are having trouble using your Siri Shortcuts on Pandora:

Ensure the correct settings are enabled on your device:

1. Open your devices Settings and go to Siri & Search. From this menu, do the following:
   • Ensure all options are enabled under Ask Siri and under Siri Suggestions.
   • Scroll down to find Pandora on the Siri and Search menu, then enable Search, Suggestions & Shortcuts, Allow on Lock Screen, and Use with Siri.
   • Tap All Shortcuts, scroll to the Pandora section, and try adding a new shortcut from the options provided.
2. Activate Siri and test the added shortcut.
