How to Allowlist Pandora with your Ad Blocker

Ads on Pandora help us continue to support the artists you love, as well as, allow us to give you free access to stations and paid features (like more skips or on-demand listening).

Free accounts are primarily supported by ads, including audio and visual. Plus and Premium accounts will not receive advertisements, however, Plus listeners will encounter ads when triggering a complimentary session of Premium in order to listen to on-demand content.

By blocking ads on our site, you may experience issues listening to Pandora or accessing additional features. You’ll need to “allowlist” Pandora in order to allow ads on our site. (Note: you can do so without turning off your ad-blocker completely.) If you prefer not to allowlist Pandora, you can upgrade your account to avoid advertisements.

To allowlist Pandora with your ad blocker:

1. Open Pandora in your web browser.
2. Open your browser's "Extensions." Most browsers have a section in which you can see the icons for the extensions you've installed. Locate your browser below for more information.

• Chrome users: Learn more about how to manage your extensions in Chrome. 
• Firefox users: Learn more about managing optional permissions in Firefox.
• Safari users: Learn more about managing extensions permissions in Safari.
• Edge users: Select Settings and more  > Extensions.

3. Identify your ad blocker. 

• AdBlock: If you have AdBlock, you should see a red stop sign with a white hand
• AdBlock Plus: If you have AdBlock Plus, you should see a red stop sign with ABP in white letters
• AdGuard: If you have AdGuard, you should see a green shield with a white checkmark
• Ghostery: If you have Ghostery, you should see a blue ghostlike icon

4. Allowlist Pandora.

• For AdBlock Plus:

1. Click the icon.
2. Click Enabled on this site at the top of the drop-down menu. This immediately disables Adblock Plus on Pandora.
3. Refresh your web browser by clicking on the circular arrow icon near the address bar.

• For AdBlock:

1. Click the icon.
2. Click Don't run on pages on this domain near the bottom of the drop-down menu.
3. Adjust the pages on which AdBlock is disabled. Click and drag the Site slider right to allow ads on Pandora.
4. Click Exclude in the bottom-right corner of the window. This will save your changes and disable AdBlock on Pandora.
5. Refresh your web browser by clicking on the circular arrow icon near the address bar.

• For AdGuard:

1. Click the icon.
2. Move the toggle next to Protection on this website from On to Off. This immediately disables AdGuard on Pandora.
3. Refresh your web browser by clicking on the circular arrow icon near the address bar.

• For Ghostery:

1. Click the icon.
2. Click Trust Site which should turn green.
3. Refresh your web browser by clicking on the circular arrow icon near the address bar. 

If you do not have any ad blocker extensions installed on your browser, check for the presence of any internet security software that could be installed which may be blocking ads.
