Why are subscription rates increasing?

We're making this update so we can continue investing in the personalized listening experience Pandora is known for, including better recommendations, improved reliability, and access to the music and podcasts you love.

We haven't made this decision lightly, and we’re grateful for your continued support. Pandora remains one of the most affordable premium music services available, and we will continue to offer several tiers of service at different price points, all with access to personalized stations and our full content library.

When will the new price take effect - will I be charged immediately?

For plans impacted by the rate adjustment, the new full price subscription rates are effective as of September 22, 2026. 

The new rates apply to:

• New subscription purchases made on and after that date
• Renewals of existing subscriptions processed on and after that date

Here are more details:

• Monthly plans: Updated price applies at your next monthly billing date
• Annual plans: Updated price applies at your next yearly renewal date
• Family plans: The total plan price will update at renewal; individual member access remains unchanged

You will not be charged the updated price before your current billing cycle ends. For more information, you can view your billing details in your account settings.

How do I find out more about the changes to my subscription rate?

Due to our wide range of offerings, rates vary across our different plans.

Please see your emailed or mailed notification for your specific plan changes. You can also view that information in your subscription settings. Simply sign in and click the icon (initial or picture) in the upper right corner > Settings > Subscription.

Your new rate will appear for any billing that takes place on or after October 22, 2026.

Can I change my plan?

Absolutely. We continue to offer three subscription tiers at different price points, all with access to personalized stations and our full content library. You can switch plans at any time in your account settings. Changes will take effect at your next billing cycle.

Where can I find more information about my plan that is billed through a third party?

If a third party handles your billing - such as when you purchase a subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (on your phone or smart TV) or another retailer - you must manage your subscription directly through that billing provider.

How can I cancel?

We would be sorry to lose you if you decided to cancel your subscription. If you did, however, you can find instructions on how to do so here.

You would continue to have access through the end of your current billing period. After that, your account would return to the free, ad-supported experience.
